20.02.2022 It’s been quite a marathon - this was the last of the dinners for this Nourishing Fayre series. So pleased to been able to share the facts and the recipes and actually complete all of them at this difficult time. We also had a lot of laughs and fun too!



12.02.2022 On arrival tonight for another Nourishing Fayre dinner we had a cup of Holy Basil /Tulsi tea,it is a real stress reliever ,an adaptogen herb working to reduce your cortisol levels if elevated. Remember caffeine from 1 cup of coffee can keep Cortisol levels elevated for up to 18 hours . Thanks for the lovely discussion ladies!

07.01.2022 Lively night of great questions especially on gut health and absorption of essential vitamins,minerals and protein. If you are relying on gaining these nutients from a plant based diet including,legumes ,nuts and seeds they contain phytates,these are anti-nutrients which prevent us absorbing them. It is essential to soak them to release the phytates and activate them.... On the other hand ,protein ,vitamins and minerals contained in animal protein are fat soluble and are much more bioavailable to us. Moderate amounts of wild,and pastured - ‘Better Meat -for healthy robust immune systems !

Rich in easily absorbable animal protein ,haem Iron and vitamin B12. Cauliflower,sour cream béchamel makes this a great low carbohydrate alternative....Continue reading
