25.01.2022 What are you kid’s favorite fruit jelly flavor? I make mine using only organic gelatin. It’s packed with amino acids making them such a gut healing powerhouse. They are also a good source of protein, which is great for fussy eaters. And best of all they are so simple to make!

True healing and happiness is not about any of this. It's about making improvements every single day, every step of the way. It's about being content in the hard times as well as the easy. 21.01.2022 As we head into 2021 and we think about the year ahead, many of us begin to set goals to achieve. Do you want to earn more money, build your business, lose weight, get healthier, travel more, excel in sport, make new friends, mend a relationship??? The list is endless. Even though these goals may feel significant or seemingly important, they will not provide you with lasting happiness or peace when accomplished.... Achieving any goal that is in the form of matter, will give you bursts satisfaction and hits of happiness. However, these may only be short lived. They will possibly just feed your ego, but not your soul. True happiness comes from within. It comes from nurturing and fostering self-worth, peace, joy, love, gratitude, happiness etc. feelings within. If we don’t feel a certain way deep in our core, our hits of happiness from the outside (like a drug addiction) will only be short lived. They will only be temporary, leaving you searching and craving for more to fill that space within. If you want more abundance in your life, but you feel lacking and limited, then all you are going to see and feel in your life is lack. If you want more love, but you don’t feel deserving or loveable, then love will not flow. If you want to be more peaceful, yet you are consumed with guilt, then peace is impossible. As you think about the year ahead, think of the feelings that you would like to create within. Think about the values that you would like to live by. Leave the physical goals aside, they will evolve as a consequence. Make a list of these. It’s then your job, with persistence, consistency and unwavering dedication; to only use words, thoughts and actions that align with these feelings. When our internal world is beautiful, then the external world will just continue to match this. Happy new year! 16.01.2022 It's the expectations we place on other people and things that leads to resentment. Expecting others to behave a certain way can only lead to unfulfillment and is just a trap for guaranteed disappointment. People will never behave the way we expect them too and we should not try to control this either. Our behaviour and actions are all that we can and should strive to control. Happiness does not come from other people’s actions. Happiness does not come from controlling our ...external world. Our happiness is not dependant on the people around us. Yes, we may get hits of happiness here and there by functioning this way, but it is often very short lived! True happiness comes from inside of us. If we let go of our expectations of others and practice more acceptance, then everyone is off the hook. We then take back 100% responsibility. This is difficult at first and possibly not always mastered, but with just greater self-awareness you will bring more flow and ease into your life. Recent research confirms what many of us have known for years, that our immune system is dictated by the state of our nervous system.... So what does that mean? If you are in a constant state of fear and stress, then your immune system will not be working to it’s full potential. This to me is common sense, but every now and then I am still shocked by the amount of sugar children consume on a daily basis. These differing opinions often create conflict and separation in our society. It has done since the dawn of time. Instead of judging others opinions or beliefs, why not listen with curiosity. Why not abstain from argumentation and pivot to a place of compassion. Dive into meaningful convers...ations with an open mind. Ask yourself if you could possibly see things differently. Ask questions and show respect for another’s point of view. After all, there is no right or wrong. Right or wrong is only a belief that we have created around a situation.This brings about a story of emotions in our mind. Ask yourself.Does this story disrupt my peace or bring me harmony? Can I let this go and choose to focus my attention somewhere else? There are very few things that we can control in this beautiful life of ours. Trying to control our external world will only bring us pain and suffering. We can’t control actions of others. Neither can we control how someone will respond to our actions. This doesn’t mean stop doing anything. It simply means showing up in life without judgement, fear, guilt, hate, blame or suffering. When these heavy emotions are removed we can function with so much more clarity and wisdom. The only things we can control are our thoughts and behaviours. So focus on doing a damm good job of these instead. This is where the real joy lies. This being said, it does take dedication and persistence to undo habitual thought patterns and habits. When you feel rattled, bring your focus inward and be the observer of your mind. Watch your thoughts and see them for what they truly are; only thoughts. Meditation is a very good tool to assist you in this process. This is a practice that needs to be cultivated and practiced time and time again with self-love and self-inquiry. Self-love is so important, especially for the times that we slip up and get hijacked back into our story. If you limit your attention to the very things you can control; your thoughts and behaviors, this will bring you the gift of peace of mind. Freedom of mind is where true happiness exists. Talk less.
