Taoism and other ancient schools of wisdom teach that reconnection with ourselves leads to reconnection with other people and other species, the earth and the universe in which we exist. This can ultimately lead to reconnection with the source of the creation of it all. In my humble opinion the highest purpose for Tai Chi and physical therapies (along with meditation yoga etc) is as a tool for promoting reconnection and reintergration within oursel...ves, our return to being and feeling whole again, which is the start of everything else. It is a question, practically of relationship. We must get back into relation, vivid and nourishing relation to the cosmos and the universe . . . . For the truth is, we are perishing for lack of fulfillment of our greater needs, we are cut off from the great sources of our inward nourishment and renewal, sources which flow eternally in the universe. 22.01.2022 TAI CHI BEGINNERS COURSE: Hi everyone. We have a few spaces left for our Tai Chi Beginners Courses. The Thursday 6pm Class starts this Thursday 29th April and the 7pm Thursday class starts the following week 6th May. The course runs for 4 weeks at the McLaren Vale Primary School Gym and the cost is $60 paid in advance. At the end of the 4 weeks there will be the option to continue training for an additional 6 weeks by which time students will have learnt section 1 of the Tai Chi form.
