22.01.2022 Nova case study - using PBMT for Frozen shoulder A client presented to Nova Therapies with a diagnosis of frozen shoulder after a skiing accident. PBMT was used once a week for a period of 4 months. His pain significantly subsided after 3-4 treatments and his glenohumeral joint range of motion (ROM) has been increasing from week to week. We have compared his shoulder ROM to his colleague who has been diagnosed with frozen shoulder a year ago and hasn't been receiving any tre...atments. His shoulder ROM is on average 30 degrees more compared to his colleague's shoulder. CONCLUSION: Photobiomodulation (PMB) therapy can speed up tissue healing time and quality of healing.
