Bella certainly wasn’t easy, was definitely up there with one of the hardest ponies I’ve ever had in, but when you get two updates like this within the first few weeks / months of the pony returning home, it absolutely makes it all worth it From Elisha & Priya Manuel: Bella is going well! So beautiful to handle on the ground... absolutely impeccable manners!! She took her on a 2-3hr trail ride with a friend & she was reall...y good... no spookiness, calm, listened etc. All of her paces are amazing by comparison to when she left! Jess can’t believe the difference... Hi Taya! I just wanted to let you know that Bella has been amazing! For the past 2 days Priya has had her cantering perfect 20m circles, staying on her line, with no fighting, complete relaxation & on the correct lead very time without fail. 23.01.2022 Sweet Cookie had her first ride under saddle yesterday! Definitely wasn’t easy for this shy girl, but we got there in the end and it didn’t take her long to be happily walking around off my aids. We worked to where she was comfortable and took it all very slowly which has been the key with her through the whole breaking progress. Looking forward to seeing the improvements in her over the next few weeks. #novelloparktrainingcentre

22.01.2022 Henry has really come a long way in the last few weeks. Some breakthrough rides in the last week that Ive been waiting for finally happened. No longer rushing into jumps, much softer in your hands, responding to correct aids and an overall happier and easier ride. He was a pony who seemed to get caught up into this fight me headspace and it was hard to work him out of it. But can now say hes far more willing to give you what youre asking without the initial battle as we call it. A few bit changes Ive been fiddling around with, think Ive found some suitable for him now. Looking forward to seeing how he goes with his owner when he returns home. #novelloparktrainingcentre

22.01.2022 FOR SALE - Hoku Hoku is a beautiful 9yo, approx 14.2hh welsh cob mare, she is a safe and reliable ride with absolutely no dirt at all. Hoku is registered through the welsh cob society under the name Frangipani Farm Hoku. She’s what I would call an easy ride and has no kick, bite, spook, buck, bolt, rear or any vice. Hoku has great ground manners and is perfect to be handled by anyone, she’s a sweet mare with a beautiful temperament. Hoku comes from a station life so is ve...ry experienced with trails and bush rides, she’s still green in terms of flatwork and jumping but has taken it all in her stride in just 3 weeks with me. She’s got an established walk, trot, canter and is learning to jump without any issues. Hoku is definitely more woah than go and has the best breaks I’ve ever seen on a horse. I believe Hoku will thrive in any discipline with her beautiful movement coming from her amazing breeding I think she’d pull off a lovely dressage test and would clean up in the back ring. She’s definitely brave enough to be an eventer too and would be such a pleasure for someone to bring up the heights. Hoku would also be more than happy in a lowkey home for bush rides or adult riders. I think she’d be an amazing confidence booster pony, although being green her temperament is to die for and she would never do anything untoward to her rider. I think she would be suited to any level rider due to her calm demeanour. Hoku is good to float, worm, farrier, dentist ect. She’s more than happy to be on her own or paddocked with another horse, she comes from a herd environment but has been totally happy on her own and with other horses here. Owner has asked for preferred no trial at this stage, but I am happy to offer to bring her out to anywhere off the property that you’d like to try her at, while I’m there to supervise. Hoku only be sold to the best of homes. I have had plenty of interest already but at the end of the day she will go to the best suited home. Up to date with everything. She will be available for viewing all of this week but isn’t to leave my property permanently until Sunday 22/11, she will stay in daily training until then. Vet checks welcome. 22.01.2022 Filly after her brilliant ride today parked at the mounting block. Shes coming along very well in her ridden work, becoming more balanced in her trot and settled in the mouth. Very impressed with her and love that her owner has allowed me so much time with her. 20.01.2022 The beautiful Filly had her first ride yesterday, she had just over a week of lunging and groundwork to make sure she was ready to be ridden and somewhat fit enough. For a pony whos had over a year off and only being green broke she took it better than I couldve imagined. Although understandably wobbly and green, she was so relaxed and seemed to really enjoy the ride, as did I. Looking forward to bringing out the best in this mare and feeling her improve under saddle over her stay. #novelloparktrainingcentre

20.01.2022 The very loveable Dolly went home on Friday after two successful weeks of training. Dolly made great progress in her time here. She came in with minimal work in the bridle and not and to work on transitions, specifically her canter transitions and her overall canter work. By the end of the stay, she became much more familiar with the bit and worked well in a contact, she now has a very established canter and the transitions into it were sharp and precise. She had a much more forward and engaged trot and overall an easier, happier ride with all the necessary buttons. Even popped a few jumps while she was here and she definitely enjoys it! 17.01.2022 Was so lovely to be back out with Miss Ruby yesterday, been a while her last event was November 2020! Huge thanks to her owner, Sophie Elise for bringing her to Wallangara, only 1 rail over her three rounds in the 50, 60 & 70 even bringing home a placing. I love campaigning this beautiful pony in the competition environment and looking forward to the rest of the season with her. My personal pony also had a great day, giving our first 1m a crack. Thanks Sophie for all your help with both ponies, jumping from one to another all day isn’t easy but we and the girls made it work and had an amazing, successful day Videos to come.

16.01.2022 Sweet young Dolly has been going so well in her week of training, lucky to be having her stay an extra week for her benefit. Working to improve her upwards transitions, especially in the canter, her balance in the canter and her stamina and fitness that needs a lot of work. Shes into the work routine now and is loving it. 15.01.2022 The beautiful Eden last month at Baldivis Showjumping competition. After just 4 weeks of training, this pony absolutely blew me away with her behaviour all day. Coming in with major separation anxiety issues and napping which also resulted in bad rearing and bucking habits. The entire day she stood in her stable, alone or accompanied by my pony, calmly waited around for gear check and her rounds, happily went into the warmup ring and competition ring without any thought of napping or any of those habits re-surfacing. And certainly pulled off some eye catching jumping, clearing everything by miles Eden is currently enjoying herself at a riding school while were still on the hunt for the perfect small, but experienced and confident rider to lease her. 14.01.2022 Hoku is a beautiful welsh cob registered through the welsh cob society. Standing at approx 14.2hh and 9 years old she’s the perfect height and age for a range of riders and disciplines. This video is from her early morning ride today in the wind. Hoku has proven that she is absolutely a safe and reliable ride and hasn’t put a foot wrong in her stay. While she is more woah than go, we’re working very hard on getting her to be more reactive to leg pressure and getting her to m...ove of my leg well and consistently. Her canter is still a work in progress, hence no videos. But they will be coming shortly, just working on getting it a bit neater for the time being. Hoku has to be the sweetest mare I’ve ever met and her temperament is to die for. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their own, she’s been nothing but a delight and pleasure to have at NPTC. *Hoku will not be officially advertised until next Sunday but I’m more than happy to answer any further questions you may have. 14.01.2022 FOR LEASE Erigolia Lilwen - Lily Lily is an 8 year old, 12.3hh welsh B who is looking for her perfect rider to take her on for the next few years. Lily is a beautiful mannered pony with a lovely temperament to ride and work with in any way, she has a great work ethic and has improved out of sight in her training here. Lily came to us as a green broke pony, who hadn’t done anything since being broken. So please note, Lily is GREEN, so therefore I would recommend a home that ma...y have an older, more experienced rider who could continue to help with her education. Lily is a beautiful mover and holds her head in a nice self carriage, she would excel at pony dressage, hacking and of course an all-round pony club mount. She is well established in walk, trot and canter, doing simple changes and starting leg yields already. She has not done much jumping at all so this will need to be developed. Lily has a very soft mouth and is brilliant with all hand, leg and seat aids, as well as being very much used to verbal cues as well. She moves well off your leg, and definitely isn’t that frustrating ‘kick, kick, kick’ pony. Her improvement over her stay here just proves what a cracking pony she will be in the future with continuous work. Lily requires a calm and soft hand both on the ground and under saddle, she can be a bit nervous and spooky at times only when you would expect it and there’s something to be scared of. A quiet voice and some reassurance is all Lily needs in these situations and she will continue to keep trying her best. Lily has never evaded any work, new training or challenged I have thrown at her. She takes it all in her stride and gives it a go, she is easy to work with and truely will do anything you ask, especially once you have developed that trust with her. I would very confidently say she is a safe ride. Lily is good to tack up, lunge and for farrier, desist ect. She does not come with any tack, I have been riding her in a 16 inch riviera jump saddle which seems to fit well and a simple, single joint egg but snaffle. 13.01.2022 Archie is a gorgeous 10 year old waler brumby standing at approx 14.2hh. Archie is a very friendly horse who has an incredible work ethic, he loves to be ridden and having a job to do. He would go all day if he could. Archie has made great progress in under 2 weeks and is cantering beautifully and working well into the bridle. We’re currently playing around with some bits to find what he likes best but once again, he hasn’t put a foot wrong in the slightest in his time here.... I believe Archie would make an amazing eventer with his bold and brave personality, while also being very athletic and not at all a spooky ride. Archie is more go than woah but has a very soft mouth and is more than happy to be ridden on the buckle or with a contact. 11.01.2022 A very hot winters day, today for Tanwens session. Her canter has definitely improved in her first week of training, establishing a more balanced and steady canter with neat, correct transitions rather than running into it. Working on her being consistent with picking up the correct leads, specifically on her worse side. Just smoothing out some rough edges more than anything, already a very nice, and safe pony. Hopefully her little rider will find her canter a bit easier when she returns home. Finishing off with some games, which shes taken to like shes done it a million times. 09.01.2022 Proud coach post! Eve and her two beautiful boys, Fleck and Vallis had a fabulous day at Horsemen’s Pony Club Arena Eventing. Was such a huge improvement from her last competition that I was also at, Eve has worked so hard in her weekly lessons with these boys and they’ve come a long way! They both went around two lovely rounds, each boy having a clear round and came across the finish line safely and very happy! Vallis came home with 5th and 6th place and Fleck 6th and ...8th place. Charlotte and Buzz were also amazing around their two rounds, after a rider error in the first round Charlotte made sure she was not making the same mistake again. Her and Buzz finished strong in their second round and achieved their goal of finishing without any refusals Just a little bit slow leaving her in 8th place! What makes me most proud about being the coach of these two up and coming riders is the way that any chance they get they’re talking to, patting and smiling with their ponies I could hear them both saying good boy to their ponies from way out on the course! 08.01.2022 Always remember to have fun and take a break from the serious training On Saturday I went on a trail ride with two of the young girls Ive been coaching and helping with the training of their ponies for over a year now, on board the pony who made me realise this is what I want to do as a career, Buzz. The weekly lessons in the arena are great, but every now and then switching it up is so beneficial. And there is a lot to still learn on a trail ride! Was a great way to spend my Saturday morning with these up and coming superstar riders I love watching grow #novelloparktrainingcentre

08.01.2022 So proud of Grace and Lilly in their lesson yesterday afternoon. Grace is a pony Ive worked with and had for training several times now in the last year or so, she has now been sold onto a wonderful family from when I first met her. Lilly unfortunately had an accident and confidence knock a few months ago, so I have been working with Grace while shes been out of action. Yesterday was Lillys first ride back and she did so well working together with her pony, overcoming some confidence barriers. Onwards and upwards for these two #novelloparktrainingcentre

Bella arrived early this week for as long as she needs, needs a lot of work with her relaxation under saddle and general training and education. Shes got a young rider so the aim is to send her home an easier and safer mount for her rider, so they can start to head out to fun things like pony club soon. Bellas work will all be taken very slow and at her pace, in a way she understands and will benefit. Looking forward to seeing her progress. 04.01.2022 SOLD FOR SALE - Archie Archie is a lovely 10yo, approx 14.2hh waler brumby gelding who shows exceptional potential to be a successful eventer. Archie is as brave and bold as they get and is loving learning to jump, already been XC training going through water, over bridges, steps, jump ups and downs and over jump fills. Archie comes from a station life so therefore is what you would call ‘bombroof’, he’s well and truely used to trial riding and bush rides and is super safe.... Archie is more go than woah but has a very soft mouth and is happy to go around on the buckle or collected. He is still green in terms of flatwork and jumping but has shown such great progress and is confidently jumping 65-70cm already, he has a work ethic you dream of in a horse. Archie would be happy to be ridden all day but doesn’t get fresh after a couple of days off. He has absolutely no kick, bite, bolt, buck, rear, spook ect in him and would suit any rider from second ridden onwards. He is the perfect amount of forward but has a naturally low head carriage. Archie has a beautiful temperament and is so easy to work with, he’s not stubborn and is as friendly as they get on the ground. Archie is happy to be paddocked with other horses or on his own. Archie is a ‘low fuss, no stress’ type horse and would have no issues going out to pony club or shows. Archie would make a perfect pony club mount, eventer, showjumper, adult riding horse or just for trail rides. He is still green so wouldn’t recommend to a beginner home, intermediate + rider will be best for him. Good to float, worm, farrier, dentist ect. 03.01.2022 Edens 1 week improvements. This video is just focusing on her canter transitions and her overall canter work. The first day I rode her I could put barely any leg on whatsoever, any leg would equal a pigroot, buck or some type of backend action 1 week later she is engaged and working around my leg for some very nice transitions without any funny business, still not perfect but in such a short time Im very happy with her progress. There have been some other habits and issues that have come up with Eden that were still working through. But I wanted to go back and reflect and see her positive changes in her first week of training, her attitude and overall work ethic has improved greatly as well. #novelloparktrainingcentre

03.01.2022 Eden has turned such a corner the last week and is just such a pleasure to work with. I may or may not have an extreme favouritism towards her Have definitely found her talent in jumping, with a very bold and scopey jump she just loves it. 02.01.2022 SOLD Archie is a gorgeous 10 year old waler brumby standing at approx 14.2hh. Archie is a very friendly horse who has an incredible work ethic, he loves to be ridden and having a job to do. He would go all day if he could. Archie has made great progress in under 2 weeks and is cantering beautifully and working well into the bridle. We’re currently playing around with some bits to find what he likes best but once again, he hasn’t put a foot wrong in the slightest in his time ...here. I believe Archie would make an amazing eventer with his bold and brave personality, while also being very athletic and not at all a spooky ride. Archie is more go than woah but has a very soft mouth and is more than happy to be ridden on the buckle or with a contact. We have popped Archie over a few small jumps already and he shows great potential, as well as introducing some games to him. *Archie will not be officially advertised until next Sunday but I’m more than happy to answer any further questions you may have. 02.01.2022 Amazing day all round for NPTC! 2 of our own ponies, 1 trainee, 2 riders, 6 rounds Myself and my beautiful Dreamy were 1st in the 65cm and went around her first 80cm for a lovely round and 5th place. Gorgeous Ruby came out again for 1st place in her 45cm and her first ever 65cm round easily just out of the placings. Sophie Elise Cleo and our very own precious Jasmine coming home with 1st and 3rd in their two 45cm rounds! Very well run event, lots of rain but beautiful pon...ies made up for it. 02.01.2022 Dolly, 11.2hh 9 year old, welsh A. Young brain who requires some further training especially in the canter. Had problems with bucking into the transition. Not had a lot of mouthing or ridden work with the bit, but shes been taking to everything very well and improving everyday. Very sweet mare with a loving nature. 01.01.2022 SOLD FOR SALE - Emugully Semahk ‘Semakh’ Semakh is a 13yo, approx 14.1-14.2hh registered pure bred Australian Stockhorse. She is a very easy-going horse with lots of experience on Trail rides and hobby riding. With a willing and kind nature this girl has taken to all the new things I have thrown at her in the last week with no issues at all. She has three steady gaits, moves off leg well so is not lazy or an annoying kick kick kick pony, she moves at a lovely consistent and... comfortable pace. Semakh Is green to arena work, flatwork and jumping but has seemed to really enjoy what I’ve introduced her to. 01.01.2022 Filly has been improving hugely over the last month, with still 3 weeks to go in her training weve been taking things slowly. But shes now happily cantering and her trot work is feeling great.
