20.01.2022 Stoked to have officially finished the year ranked number 1 in the world in both singles and doubles! (the first time I’ve ever done it for dubs!) In what was a bloody tough year all round, big love to my team and to all of you for making it possible. Pumped for a big 2021 on the court xx

17.01.2022 4 days left in our 12 Days of Christmas Countdown. Tonight, meet Alex! Seven-year-old Alex lives with cerebral palsy which affects all four of his limbs. He’s been supported by Novitatech for his assistive technology services, including orthotics and mobility equipment such as his walker and wheelchair. During the year, Alex came to one of Novita’s ‘Come and Try’ sessions where he was able to run around SA Athletics Stadium using a RaceRunner a specialised tricycle perfect to support Alex to achieve his mobility goals.

14.01.2022 Novita’s respite service is supporting Debra to build her independence. Respite involves a Novita or scosa client spending some quality time with the assistance of a support worker in short-term accommodation. Debra receives services from the team at scosa’s Plympton hub, and has been discovering new found independence during her week-long respite breaks. 06.01.2022 Novita is celebrating National Volunteers Week by highlighting some of the great work done by our dedicated volunteers. Meet scosa volunteer Cheryl Evans I’ve been volunteering for scosa for seven years. I was looking for something worthwhile to do once I retired from my career in childcare, and I happened to see an ad in the Messenger newspaper for scosa volunteers. So I looked into it, and here I am seven years later.... I go out once a fortnight to various businesses and collect any of the orange scosa donations balls that are full, and replace them with an empty one if that’s required. I interact with the businesses and staff, then at the end of the day I bring the donation balls back to the office. It’s a very worthwhile cause, and I feel like I am contributing by collecting the donations. I just feel like I’m doing something worthwhile with my life, now that I’m retired. So I think volunteering means helping out wherever I can, which makes me feel like I’m contributing. #nvw2021

My favorites hot pink wheels and rainbow + unicorn AFO’s!
