It is local businesses such as yours that allows us to continue spreading the word of road safety. It also goes to show how our local businesses are community focused and want to help anyway they can. Thanks again guys we really appreciate your contribution to our projects. 21.01.2022 Today is VERY special, it's International Volunteer Day! We want to recognise the amazing volunteers at our Carnarvon FOCUS (Friends Of Citizens Under Stress) s...hop. Thank them on their hardwork, dedication and extreme genorosity to our community, especially to us. This committed group of volunteers donated $22,950 to us so that we could purchase a Road Safety Trailer to help us promote and create awareness of road safety in our community & region - particularly for our Driver Reviver events. For that we say a MASSIVE thank you to FOCUS for helping make this project possible and a reality for us. Your genorosity is beyond what we ever expected, and this will assist our community in keeping our roads safe. Below are some photos of the morning tea we put on this morning for the volunteers. Other acknowledgements go to: Rio Tinto Dampier Salt (Community Grants Fund) kindly donated $2000 towards the project to have the trailer freighted from Queensland to Carnarvon. Main Roads WA for also kindly donating $1200 to the freight cost. We could not have made this project a reality with the above amazing volunteers and local businesses. Your contribution this valuable project is greatly appreciated and will be used by our community for many years to come. Wondering where the awesome stickers and novelty cheque came from? We support local!
