22.01.2022 SPRING HAS SPRUNG..... Here’s our top 5 tips to ensure a fitter and healthier you this spring ensuring you’re beach ready come this summer . 1. Up the intensity - the old saying goes.. if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you and this couldn’t be more true, you’re body is geared around adaption and if it’s been a while since you’ve changed your routine, weights, distance etc then it’s time up the anti and raise the stakes!... . 2. Clean up the kitchen - We’re all human and have a tendency to slip from time to time (heck I do ) The best offence is a good defence so ensure the temptations are at a minimum and the kitchen is full of nutrient rich food that talks to your objectives . 3. Mix it up - Exercise doesn’t have to be defined via a gym membership.. Give new things a go and step outside your comfort zone.. the easier it is to exercise the more likely you’ll stick with something long term.. Ever been on a paddle board? Give yoga a go... maybe throw the gloves on and try an mma class.. . 4. Dream big - Goals are dreams with dead lines.. The clearer your objectives are the likelihood of you maintaining focus on them.. Get the pen out of retirement and think of 5 goals you would like to achieve within the 12 weeks of spring and attach dates to each one.. Read them daily and ensure your game plan is built around them . 5. Redefine what fitness looks like - There are too many health experts with opinions on what YOUR plan should look like.. Look at your lifestyle, keep things realistic and set a plan of attack that you feel is manageable and sustainable for you and your family situation . So what are you waiting for??
