24.01.2022 In 2019 Director Olivia O'Hare started a campaign to raise awareness for a condition called Aphasia. The movement is called A Night for Aphasia (ANFA) and each year the team hosts an epic event! Educational Relevant Delicious food and drinks ... Epic Raffle and silent auction prizes Live music Networking Stunning venue Fun night out Feel good brownie points Ticket purchased... That’s up to you! What is A Night for Aphasia about? ANFA aims to educate Australian Allied Health Professionals, students and the general public about Aphasia to facilitate further research, understanding and awareness. We strongly believe that increased awareness about Aphasia is crucial in helping those individuals and families who are affected, comfortably reintegrate into society with this invisible and relatively unknown disorder. By bringing this awareness we ensure that more people have the knowledge to be able to recognise and facilitate this reintegration from hospital admission back into their community. No other event like ANFA exists!! It culminates a perfect balance between educational and professional speakers, networking opportunities, people with Aphasia sharing their experiences, amazing raffle and silent auction donations from local and large businesses, and delicious food and drinks. People from all walks of life come together, to learn about something that affects so many people within the Melbourne community and world-wide. It is an evening to celebrate the Aphasia community and to help shed some light on what Aphasia really is. Date: June 4th 2021 Time: 7.00pm Location: Higher Ground in the CBD Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.trybooking.com/BPGPD For more information visit our Instagram @anightforaphasia or our Facebook A Night for Aphasia and we hope to see you there!
