20.01.2022 When Shane Parrish asked John Maxwell (a renowned leadership coach) this question on his podcast Knowledge Project, Whats the secret to living a fulfilled life? Johns response was profoundly simple. "Well, I love that question and I love it for two reasons. A fulfilled life: I love that question because I think it is possible to have one, and I think many people do not. I also love that question not only because I believe most people do not know the process to having a fu...lfilled life. So, when anybody asks me a question that I think is within reach of a person, I get very excited, because it improves them. I think a fulfilled life, is a life lived for others and it is not about me. I teach a lot of communication and when people say they want to be a great communicator, rule number one is very simple; if you want to be a great communicator, get over yourself. Just get over yourself. The moment I get concerned about how others perceive me, is the moment I put limitations on my communication skills. If you want to be a great communicator, get over yourself. If you want to live a fulfilled life, get over yourself. The reason for that is we are designed to be people that help each other. Society and culture work best when we are our brothers keeper. 19.01.2022 Today was a day of wonderful welcome backs and what a way to start with amazing celebrations of achievement. It was lovely to be back! The NOW Business Network Group held our first on site meeting, adhering where possible to social distancing and hand sanitising requirements. Jack Pool, Stafford & District Meals on Wheels was presented with an award to the Stafford District Meals on Wheels team for 40 years in operation. Congratulations, Jack and the team!... Matthew Baker, Shift Buddies was presented with a NOW WOW! Award for his exceptional commitment to the community and for the services his Shift Buddies team provides to charity organisations.
