21.01.2022 And here it is:- Nowendoc is having a Winter Festival thanks to Andrew Clermont and Totally Gourdgeous! Totally Gourdgeous sounds like - Joni Mitchell meets James Brown in Bob Marley’s pumpkin patch via The Muppets! All musicians are playing gourd instruments luthiered by Penelope Swales.(Gourd Guitar, Gourdalin, Stomp, Aslatuas, Chinese Hulusi Gourd Flute), This will be a manic, organic musical experience, punning pathos, heartfelt hilarity & messages of love, fellowship a...nd environmental sanity. You can find further details of these amazing performers at http://www.andrewclermont.com.au and http://totallygourdgeous.com But there’s more! Felix Peake has also generously agreed to make a return visit with his bagpipes. Come and join us on 14 July 2018 at 6:00pm for all the fun and music and dancing and laughter in the Nowendoc Memorial Hall. A light meal (soup and stew) will be available for purchase and tea and coffee. Bring everyone in your family, your friends and your favourite drinks. School kids are free and can sit right up close to the stage if they bring a cushion. Tickets are $30/adult and you can buy them by sending a message to Andrew on 0407 753809. Just type TG NOW for banks details to pay and save Andrew’s reply as your ticket. Alternatively, you can pay on the night. Please bring the correct amount to assist our friendly volunteers and send an email to [email protected] if you need any further information. We hope to see you wearing your best dancing shoes! 10.01.2022 Another great day at Nowendoc Rec Grounds. Great group of competitors.

03.01.2022 Andrew Clermont's Supper Club is back at Nowendoc on Saturday 12 January 2019 from 7:00pm at the Memorial Hall! BYO picnic and drinks before then and settle in (with your friends) for some world class music and some world class fun. Clermont has been widely touring for decades from Tamworth to Estonia, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Kenya, Tanzania and Southeast Asia. You may have seen him with Totally Gourdgeous, at the Tamworth Country Music Festival or just about any festival a...nywhere. Andrew is famous throughout this great continent and attracts an astonishing array of performer friends wherever he goes. Last year Brookie, Daniel, Anthony and Andrew stole our hearts now we can catch up with them again. Internationally renowned didgeridoo maestro Mark Atkins will be a special guest and you are in for a treat. Mark has performed with the Canberra Symphony and the Australian Chamber Orchestras and is a celebrated storyteller, composer and visual artist. His story Roadtrain is a classic evocative of the Australian outback, hilarious and hypnotic. (Whoever thought it was humanly possible to play a didg and speak at the same time!) But wait! There’s more! Nowendoc’s country/soul musician and songwriter, Dan Higgins will be making his first appearance at the Nowendoc Hall joining our regular bagpipe rocker Felix Peake. So to get you well into the mood for a fabulous year, Andrew Clermont and friends will bring you a bold taste of the 2019 Supper Club. The best of human creativity and imagination will pour from the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, voice, didgeridoo, banjo, bagpipes and bass. Foot stomping, clapping (in time!) and general good cheer are mandated. I can’t wait! Tea and coffee will be on sale at the end of the evening with homemade goodies. Tickets are $30 and you can buy them by sending a message to Andrew on 0407 753809. Just type NOW for banks details to pay; and save Andrew’s reply as your ticket. Alternatively, you can pay on the night. Please bring the correct amount to assist our friendly volunteers. School students under 12 years are free.
