18.01.2022 Sabotage. /sabtäZH/ A sexy word for a truly terrible vibration! Here’s a few of my thoughts about #sabotage and the NOWism antidote!... Sabotage can only happen because you are not fit for your manifestation. Read that again. You are really good at suffering, that’s why when the good times try to happen, you highjack them with a subconscious preference for the known. You cannot have what you do cannot see in your mind first. Identify with your end result and rehearse the vibe until your nervous system acclimatises. That way when things start working out you are equipped to handle it. Equipped to feel #good. Equipped to feel #ease and #flow. I know can sound weird. 10.01.2022 Why are we so terrible at receiving compliments?!!! You look nice today! Oh really? I feel quite tired." ... "You did such a good job with that presentation!" "Oh really? I felt quite unorganised." "I love how focused you are, it is really inspiring." "Really? If you saw me at home you wouldn’t be so inspired." STOP! Stand still and let the love in! Deflecting compliments is a disempowering energetic posture. It is like refusing a most generous gift. Actually, it’s spiritually rude. Learning how to gracefully receive a compliment is a powerful step in the journey of self empowerment. It’s is an activity of self love So what’s going on anyway? Why do so many of us flinch when someone gives us a compliment? I remember noticing the difference in the culture of compliments in Swaziland, Africa. I complimented a woman on the bold and colourful dress she was wearing. Wow! That is a beautiful bold colour on you! She responded with I know. That is right - absolutely true! Thank you. She took that compliment head on, without a minuscule of glitch, hesitation or doubt. In fact she opened up and revelled in the greatness of how it felt. And that, my NiNJA friend, is not ego, it is #selfworth. I remember how I felt as she soaked up my compliment without delay, it felt slightly shocking to me at first, and that’s when I realised that this is a very interesting energetic culture that we have been perpetuating! Fear of appearing egotistical has high-jacked basic self worth in our western culture, in a most terrible way. Not only do we flinch when people give us a compliment, we also scowl if someone else enjoys and fully receives a compliment!! Now clearly there is a difference between a rampaging ego and genuine self worth, and it is time for us to stop being so self-depreciating and start to stand up straight. 01.01.2022 This round of The Game of NOWism we are very involved with the Art of Affirmative thinking and speaking. It is sort of a way to talk yourself into a good mood and sustain it....
