16.01.2022 SOME CHANGES ARE HAPPENING!! Firstly the team at Nowlan Stock & Station would like to welcome you and wish you all an amazing 2019! As most of you would be aware by now that David Friend has resigned from Nowlan's and is now working with another agency. David had been tossing up a change or retirement for quite sometime and has now finally chosen to move on. We wish David all the best and thank him for his time he spent with us. Due to David leaving we will no longer be doing... Sheep on a Wednesday but we are still available for private sales and are also able to book sheep in through another agent if you wish. Also the office hours will be changing as Mel will now also be helping draft on a Monday afternoon and be at the yards on a Tuesday for the sale, so please leave a message on the answering machine and we will get back to you as soon as possible! 08.01.2022 As another week passes we are once again seeing the devastation of Mother Nature! Not only is our industry fighting droughts and floods we are now fighting fires. The drought is affecting our industry beyond belief but we now have our own family and clients out fighting fires trying to save any little bit of feed, water or stock they have left. Last week Michael spent the week seeing clients as he usually does but by Friday night he was mentally and physically drained becaus...e of the affect this drought is having on his clients and there is absolutely nothing we can do for these struggling farmers. These people have been on the land all there life and know nothing different and don't want to do anything different but when you are having to shoot cattle, watch your water supply dry up, look at bare paddocks and then look up at the sky and see blue sky's and deal with record heatwaves. These farmers are at breaking point. We will continue to make our way around to our clients or call them to let them know that things are tough but we are here to talk to and that this terrible drought will break at some stage and that you are not alone and if you are ever feeling the pressure get to you please pick up the phone and call. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone at the moment especially our clients in the tenterfield area who are currently fighting fires in your own back yards. Michael will be heading down today to lend a hand. All we can continue to do is pray for that beautiful rain to please fall out of that sky and help these farmers that works so hard at feeding our country!! See more

We had the pleasure of having Duck stay for a few days and he was even happy stepping up and help us draft last night! Thank you for your visit and all your help Duck much appreciated!!
