22.01.2022 Dear Parents, As the 2020 school year comes to a close and students finish school today I want to take this last opportunity to thank you for your support of the school. This year has been one full of challenges due to bushfires, floods and COVID. We have all worked together to ensure our students have been supported and been able to continue their learning. Thank you to the P&C for their support throughout the year, particularly our President Kate Daniel. Your work in helpin...g us to navigate the many COVID restrictions and disruptions is much appreciated by myself and the staff of the school. I would like to wish all our students and their families leaving us the very best in the future. This includes our Year 6 students as they move to the next exciting chapter of their school high school. To all other students moving to new schools good luck at your new school. Finally, I want to take this final opportunity to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope that these holidays are full of time with family and friends and some time away wherever that may be. Nicole Humphreys Principal

13.01.2022 Tomorrow (Wednesday 15th Dec) is the last day of school for students for 2020. Tomorrow is a mufti-day for all of our students, no donations needed. Let’s all enjoy our final day together before we break for the summer! The school office will be open on Thursday if needed during normal operating hours.

13.01.2022 A positive story to share... In what has been a tremendously challenging year, our staff have come together to create something quite unique, and in our opinion, quite special. We cannot wait to see what our students are doing with this resource in their hands, coupled with their trusty iPads! https://www.southcoastregister.com.au//nowra-public-scho/

04.01.2022 Cross Country 2020 Well, this year’s races have (finally!) been run and won. Our Year 5 media stepped up to capture the day and have produced something that we all hope you enjoy watching, seeing as we couldn’t have parents and carers on site to watch this year. For this event, a variety of cameras were used to generate footage that our editing team sorted through and edited ready to share with you all. There was a drone, a chest mounted Go Pro, an iPhone and our brand new Vi...deo Camera all in action during the day used by our Camera Crews. Editing was completed by students using Final Cut Pro, iMovie and even Keynote was used to produce a bit of digital trickery in this final edit. Please enjoy our video of Cross Country 2020. A big shout out to our Year 5 Media Team. Presenting this story was Baylee BD and Elizabeth D. Photography and Filmography work was completed by Emmi D and Blake H. Drone footage was shot by iChris. This edit was completed by Emmi D, Blake H and Eva C, with a special mention for Adam S in Y6 who leant a last minute hand to teach the younger team a few editing tricks before he moves on to high school. We couldn’t have finished this without you! Click the link to view the movie. Feel free to give our team some positive feedback here on this post,as comments are disabled where the video is hosted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=st91cqE8xFE Enjoy the movie! 04.01.2022 MUFTI DAY Don’t forget that this Friday, 18 September is Mufti Day. We are asking for students to bring in non-perishable food items so that the school can donate these to the SALT food pantry. On the last day of Term 3, Friday 25 September we are holding another Mufti Day to replace Book Week. Infants students can dress up as their favourite character and Primary students can too, or just wear mufti. There will be no parade as such due to COVID restrictions. We will have a sausage sizzle as well, with sausages being donated by the P&C.

03.01.2022 DRINK BOTTLES Students are still not able to use the bubblers due to COVID hygiene protocols and directions. Now that we are moving into summer students need to remain hydrated. Please ensure your child brings a drink bottle to school every day.
