18.01.2022 Happy 10th birthday Nowra Stroke and Carers Group! We celebrated 10 years of Nowra Stroke and Carers Group today down at Greenwell Point with Fish and Chips etc lots of laughs and a lovely walk or ride and of course the beautiful Cake donated by East Nowra Bakery. Thankyou

05.01.2022 Nowra Stroke and Carers Group wont be able to run at West Street for March and April 2020. It is a request from Stroke Recovery NSW due to the Coronavirus outbreak also no meeting at the Entertainment Centre for the next two months. I will keep everyone updated. Please read the letter I posted from Stroke Recovery. Thankyou for everyone's support. Teresa

04.01.2022 Hi all, As our Stroke Recovery Clubs/ Groups are suspended until further notice, we have organised to run an Online Stroke Support Group through Video Conferencing for people who would still like to talk with others who have experienced Stroke and their carers, during this time of social distancing. All that you will need to participate are the following:... A Mobile Phone, laptop or tablet An internet connection A set of headphones/ earphones that have a built in microphone (preferred but not essential) All members who register for this Online Group will receive a video with instructions of how to log in, technical support from SRA offices if you run into any issues and a fantastic new group of people to interact with from your own home. Group spaces are limited, at the moment we will be offering the following sessions: Monday Mornings at 10.30am Tuesday Afternoons at 2.00pm Wednesday Mornings at 10.30am Thursday Afternoons at 2.00pm If you are interested in becoming part of one of our Online Stroke Support Groups, call or email the Association today to secure your preferred time! We are also in the planning phase of potentially starting on Online Stroke Choir, please let us know if you would be interested in this also. Contact us on 1300 650 594 or email [email protected].
