23.01.2022 It has been a little while since i posted on this page. Looking back at the past "challenging" 18 months i decided to share some of my own experiences with you. Often in the past 18 months have i found myself in dark places i did not wanted to be or stay. It was in times like that, i dived into books, research papers, magazines, documentaries anything that would keep my mind "busy". Discovering, that "mindset is everything" I started to write things down, and just like my bo...dy, i started to train my mind. I am still a "work in progress" but i am on the journey to become " My Own Champion" and to build a "Champions Mind" First step in this "journey"......... Think of yourself as an athleteit will change the way you walk, the way you work, and the decisions you make about leadership, teamwork and success. Why do I want people to claim an athlete identity? Athletes walk with pride. They try new things. They persist in the face of doubt and defeat. They practice, they discipline themselves, they know who their teammates are and how to help them. When you think of yourself as an athlete, it affects how you view competitive challenges, how you view opponents, how receptive you are to instruction from a coach or mentor. When you see yourself as an athlete, you take your own needs of physical fitness and athletic expression seriously, making conscious choices about nutrition, stretching, strengthening and resting. You set realistic goals on and off the playing fields then strive for them. You achieve more than you otherwise would.



22.01.2022 We at NoXcuse Athlete Development would like to tribute a few words on Liam Wooding announcing his retirement from football. We meet Liam the first time when he was training and playing football for Adelaide United FC Youth Team. Anyone that watches Liam train and how he goes about his football, you can see he is a total gun. Nothing would or could hold Liam back to push himself every day to become better and to follow his goal to become a pro footballer. Sadly his body had d...ifferent ideas and his career was pretty much a stop and go situation. Based on that Liam made the decision to work with NoXcuse to get his body right. In 15 years working with pro athletes we never came across someone like Liam. 4 days a week we would train at 06.00am.Liam driving for nearly 60 minute each way, to NoXcuse training base. He did not miss one single session! With a solid pre season under his belt, Liam showed how good he can be, and won best and fairest at Metro that year. Liam we know how hard you trained, how meticulous you looked after your body and mind. We know you might have not reached your goal as a pro player But let me tell you one thing, you always have and will be a pro in anything you are doing. We would like to thank you for putting your trust in us and the privilege to train you. Happy retirement.
