24.01.2022 Presenting a brand consistently across all platforms can increase revenue by up to 23%. Forbes Brand strategy is something quite often overlooked when creating the branding design for a business. It’s easy to get a quick logo and colour palette made up to your liking, but just because YOU like it, doesn’t mean your audience will. Your brand strategy is essentially the process in which you define:... - What your core values as a brand are; - Your brand personality; - What you have to offer your customers Have you ever come across a brand on the internet and it feels like an entire experience straight away? That’s because they’ve invested their time and energy into creating an experience for their customer they won’t forget. And that’s it. Experiences create emotions, and emotions create memories. So the next time you’re in need of a new pair of sneakers, the first thing that will come to mind is that sneaker shop that totally enthralled you a month back when you came across their website. This is only the tip of the iceberg on this topic! If you want to delve a little deeper, I just published a new blog post on the importance of brand strategy in design. Link in bio ~ Would LOVE to know your thoughts/questions on this one!

16.01.2022 Weekend Mood A collection of some things I’ve been vibin’ lately. ~... Mood boards are so helpful in visualising your project/brand/thoughts or whatever you may be having trouble diving deep into. One of my favourite parts of a branding project is collaborating on mood boards with my clients. It helps them define: - What they want out of the project - Who they are as a brand - How they want to represent their brand; As well as giving me a deeper understanding of their brand. Beginning the branding process with a mood board ensures that the following collateral will stay cohesive and aligned with the brand and their vision. Thinking of rebranding or starting up? I’m always open to chat about the branding process and how I can help you!

14.01.2022 A couple of days ago was International Gratitude day. To kick it off, I shared some illustrations I created for Mindology over on Instagram & I wanted to share this here today. I haven’t properly introduced the platform yet but it fits in perfectly with the theme. Mindology is a mindset and mental wellbeing app created to empower people and bring inner calm. @clairearistides incorporates her background as a hypnotherapist and integrates the importance of gratitude throughout ...the platform and her channels. If you’re looking to work on your confidence, self belief, purpose or leadership skills, I recommend giving the app a download - or at least give the app a follow for the frequent tips and quotes shared! The purpose of international gratitude day is to celebrate what and who we’re grateful for. I’m incredibly thankful for my family and health as well as having the opportunity to work in a space that I love + to help & learn from some amazing clients. What and who are you grateful for? ~ #npcreative_aus

14.01.2022 Shadow play with my favourite cut crystal glass that I took a while back ~ This image reminds me of slower times, when a lot more was up in the air and work had paused for a moment. It’s good to reflect on moments like these, take a pause and appreciate the opportunities we have all around us #npcreative_aus

12.01.2022 Introducing our new ‘Mindset of an Entrepreneur’ series Volume #1 In collaboration with @startupcreative We’ll be showcasing some of our favourite entrepreneurs and seeking their advice on how they manage, nurture and master their mindsets to set themselves up for business success, find the courage to back themselves and go after their wildest dreams.... Kay from @startupcreative has spent years in her biz learning and understanding the abilities the mind has in manifesting opportunities and pushing through limits in business. It’s been wonderful working with her for a while now and discussing the barriers we’ve faced and the power of purpose and mindset. After a while we thought it could be a great idea to challenge others with the questions we ask ourselves and learn how other entrepreneurs have utilised their mindset to get where they are. In this series we’ll show that almost all of us have days, times and the ‘voice’ in our heads that want to keep us limited (limiting beliefs) but with the right strategies we can master them to stay on course and take our lives wherever our heart desires. Volume #1. features Euphemia from @sex.iwishyouknew - who is an inspiring thought leader in the world of sex education and has recently just landed a book deal of her own. We hope you enjoy the value these entrepreneurs have to offer!

12.01.2022 Looking back at this rebrand project When the owner came to me asking to revamp their digital presence, I was excited to explore the directions we could go. Utilising digital illustrations and a bold colour palette, we came up with the end product. #npcreative_aus

08.01.2022 Alongside the sprucing we did to @fardoulischocolates brand, we’ve been working on amplifying their email campaigns. Creating an email template that really brought their revamped visual identity to the forefront was a big focus. With their recent launch of 2x new chocolate box ranges, we wanted to make sure that their products and beautiful packaging were optimised. Always fun working with this one!... #npcreative_aus

04.01.2022 It can be easy to get lost in a crowd. The crowd of businesses in your industry, the noise on social media, and of life in general. It’s important in understanding your market, audience, or friends (depending on the scenario), their dreams and fears, and finding that connection to yours. Discovering that common ground can create a powerful connection and long lasting relationship. Begin with dreams and fears, with emotional states, and with the change your customers seek. -... @sethgodin Knowing my clients audience is probably one of the most important things to consider when creating a brand. This is why I generally start the branding process with a (little extensive) branding questionnaire to fill out. Now if they can confidently fill this sheet out, then they definitely know who they’re targeting and now so do I. If I don’t know my clients audience, then how am I supposed to design a brand around that? I loooove digging deep into these sorts of questions and generally find it just takes asking questions to find the right answer. A little shout out to @sethgodin and his book This is Marketing for giving me plenty of questions to ask myself and to dig a little deeper into the world of marketing and customer traction. Anybody else given this book a whirl?
