24.01.2022 Zhenyu chipped up early in the night. He came to final table still as chip leader. His stack got bigger when he called a three way all in with his pocket JJ against Pocket 10's, AQ and KJ. His Jacks held and it was easy win as the others tried to take him on. Congratulations Zhenyu on winning our 1st Sunday game for 2021 and Sunday event at Guildford League’s Club.

23.01.2022 From rags to riches!! Jackie climbs the ladder of success pummelling her way through our final table here at Guildford leagues for our Sunday game. It was an unfair fight of Chip stacks, but Jackie put emotions and fear aside and played her game- from short stack to champion!! Well done Jaxsters!

18.01.2022 Today is a good news day! Poker NSW and NPL has this morning received notification from NSW Police that poker events CAN BE CONDUCTED AGAIN so long as they mee...t the maximum group booking of 10 as outlined in the Public Health Order. What this means for players is that POKER WILL BE BACK! There will be some differences to the format as Multi Table Tournaments can’t be operated under the current restrictions BUT let’s look at the positives! We CAN play Shootouts, Single Table SNG’s, satellites and timed tournaments to name a few of the variants. Given the maximum group booking size of 10 any variant that ensures a single player only interacts with 9 other players is permissible. Please read our COVID safety plan here (https://www.pokernsw.com.au/plan) that has been approved by NSW Police if you would like to read through the details. This role o...ut will depend on venues being able to operate within the current government guidelines, pertaining to social distancing and capacity constraints. We ask all players to abide by our NPL COVID-19 Guidelines as well as the Hygiene Practises outlined by the Department of Health, especially the frequent use of hand sanitiser. This will help to keep our games as safe as possible. *** NPL COVID-19 Guidelines *** - If you are feeling unwell please do not attend. Visibly unwell patrons will not be permitted. - Wash your hands at regular intervals throughout the game. - Tournament Directors will keep equipment as clean and sanitised as possible. - If you need to sneeze, please use a tissue or your elbow.
