16.01.2022 Last Sunday we had our monthly Adolescents Group. We had 17 young people in attendance who enjoyed spending time together chatting, playing Xbox, board games, sharing artistic talents and making new friends .

16.01.2022 NQASG President Mark Eggert presented a certificate of appreciation to Hamish Finlayson for his contribution to the ASD community on the 19 May. Hamish is no stranger to the local community. He is an App developer and creates Apps for people on the spectrum. His effort was recognised by various major technology companies and institutions. Through his network, NQASG received a donation of computer hardware which enables the group to conduct computer workshops for our members.... Thank you Hamish! 09.01.2022 Hi everyone, Randy from the IT Club has created a new game and uploaded it to the NQASG website. In the future there will be a series of simple video tutorials on Blender and Unity to show some of the steps in the making the game. ... We will also be uploading video tutorials on how to create games using Scratch on our Facebook page soon. Hope these tutorials and games can keep you occupied during this at stay home period. 06.01.2022 Townsville New Lions Club Update There are now 14 new Members of the minimum 20 needed to form a New Lions Club, which is dedicated to providing opportunities and support for those on The Spectrum and their families. At least another Six new members are needed. ... If you would like to join, please complete the attached Membership Application Form and either return it to John Muller or bring it with you to the next Lions Club Meeting this Friday. Application Forms will also be available at the meeting . 05.01.2022 AST Sunday we held our first monthly Siblings Group. While the attendance was small, it was a great start for a much needed social group for children with ASD siblings. Everyone who came had fun.

04.01.2022 We decorated cupcakes at the Siblings Group today. Fun was had by everyone who attended . We also made goop and enjoyed adding food colouring to make lots of different colours. The next group will be held on Sunday 20th October. Hope to see you there.
