Five million Australians will receive $750 cash from this week A second $750 coronavirus stimulus payment will hit the bank accounts of eligible Australians from this week. The payment will be made to around five million people who are currently receiving income support, but unlike an earlier handout, this time less people are eligible. People who receive the Age Pension, Bereavement Allowance, Carer Allowance, Carer Payment, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, Disability Support Pension, Double Orphan Pension, Family Tax Benefit A, Family Tax Benefit B or Pensioner Concession Card are in line for the support. Those on Jobseeker, Austudy, ABSTUDY and Parenting Payment are not eligible, while those who receive the $550 coronavirus supplement payment will also miss out. It doesnt include those who are on the JobSeeker payment because theyre getting a $550 a fortnight supplement whereas the pensioners, veterans, carers and other eligible people who get this $750 payment are not getting that supplement, Frydenberg explained.
