24.01.2022 FINAL FIGHT CARD NQ BEAT DOWN 27 This Saturday we go to battle for the first time since COVID. Below is the final fight card for Saturday and we are excited to announce 18 North Queensland fighters who will put their skills to the test and represent themselves and their gyms. . LIVE ON FB ... The show will be broadcast from NQ Beat Down Facebook so everyone can enjoy. This event we will be rotating fighters, trainers and spectators each fight to keep numbers under the 60 allowed in our gym as per government guidelines. ADMISSION WILL BE FREE and we will have a carpark party with a BBQ, Coffee and Gazebos set up in the carpark for those waiting to watch fights! . VENUE The venue will be at DF.GYM, 92 Anderson St Manunda, start times will be doors open midday, first fight 12:30pm. . WEIGH-IN Weigh-in will be held at the venue at 9:30am, being a WMC/MTA sanctioned event, please make sure all bloods and medicals are complete and present on the day. . From the juniors to the main event, all the fights were a great display of what North Queensland Muay Thai has to offer, win, lose or draw, you should all be proud of the way you represented yourselves, your gym and the NQ Muay Thai scene!!! . Thanks to our sponsors Thomas Baldwin w...ho supplied all the trophies and medals for the fighters today. Thanks also to Punch Equipment and ASN Cairns for your support for every show, we’re always looking for more sponsors to back North Queensland Muay Thai so if there is anyone out there who wants to jump on board get in touch. . The ‘Smiling Assassin’ Dirk Cummings, who is the current QLD Featherweight Champ, is stepping up in weight to take on the undefeated ‘Flyin’ Ryan Jankowski who is stepping up in experience to take on the Champ. This is a Full Thai Rules fight, no pads, fought over 5x2min rounds. .
