23.01.2022 Can you hear OPPORTUNITY KNOCKING? The Australia Singapore Military Training Initiative (ASMTI) Greenvale Project has opportunities available for Hinchinbrook businesses. Right now, the ASMTI Project is calling for local providers to upload their Capability Statements ahead of early works commencing later this year. The intent of the Capability Statement is to enhance the opportunity for LOCAL industry participation.... By submitting a Capability Statement, you are helping Defence to gather accurate information about the local workforce, and are contributing to the establishment of a pool of interested and capable individuals and businesses. The very clear intent of Defence is to SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES. Jump on board by preparing your Capability Statement for consideration as works and services are identified as being required. A Capability Statement is your first step towards securing opportunities for your business in this exciting, long-term project. If you are unsure as to where to start when it comes to writing your Capability Statement, NQ Business Support can help! We have been working with many businesses who have sought assistance in the preparation of this opportunity seizing document. Hinchinbrook Shire Council is also in the process of preparing a whole of Shire CAPABILITY REGISTER. We encourage all local businesses to: 1. Prepare a full and comprehensive Capability Statement (keeping in mind that this document speaks for you when you can't be there!); and 2. Facilitate Council's efforts by way of submitting (in the required format) details from your Capability Statement for inclusion in the whole of Shire register. If your business doesn't have the available resources to compile a Capability Statement, NQ Business Support is available to provide support for those in need of a service to draft a document on their behalf. In doing this, Capability Statements are prepared for all future applications, and are, at no extra cost to the business owner, converted to the ASMTI preferred format for upload.
