25.01.2022 Lake Eacham and COVID-19 update Event Cancelled With much disappointment the committee and has made the decision to the cancel the Lake Eacham Triathlon. It... has always been our priority to ensure the safety of our members during events. These are unprecedented times and now our responsibility during this event extends beyond you to your family, friends and community. We intend to organise refunds for this event. More updates on refunds will occur in the coming week.

22.01.2022 With access to Ski Park continuing to be challenging, Lu suggests the following dry land alternative...unless conditions change this will apply for thisTues & Thu Replacement run session as follows 2km easy warm up run... 2x following drill 20 m apart with run back recovery High knees Bum kicks High skips Straight leg shuffle Side steps Grape vine 5 x run through hard sprint efforts 1 x 500 m effort at 1/2km race pace recovery jog same distance 8 x 200 efforts on descending time (each one getting slightly faster 1 x 500 m effort at 1/2km race pace recovery jog same distance 2 km easy run to cool down Remember to rest between 200 to be max 30-45 seconds equal to time of effort

10.01.2022 Boards are back to Branch Office. Collection possible during Business Hours M-F. There is a course on Sat 9-12 + All day Sunday so access available. A big thank you to Marty Cook & Adrian Conroy for bringing everything home. (Not to forget Ash Wilkinson & Simon Greenwood for taking extra time off work also to get gear down) Cairns club boards need to be returned to Palm Cove shed. Please make arrangements to collect as there is some maintenance works in the shed that we... need to clear the area for. We finished 18th on overall points score (out of 42). We finished 19th in 2019 & 2018 from memorySo Go Nth Queeeenslander!!!!!!!!!!!!

09.01.2022 HUGE shout out to Stewie Turrell of safe travel, thanks & much gratitude as he heads down to officiate at the Qld Youth State Championships. Not only will Stewie be officiating at these championships (on behalf of our branch) but he will also officiate at the Qld Masters State Championships, the Qld State Championships & the Australian Championships.
