22.01.2022 Labour Day office closure notice for Monday 4th of May. Did you know that Labour Day is an annual public holiday that celebrates the eight-hour working day? It was a victory for workers in the mid-late 19th century. The argument for the eight-hour day was based on the need for each person to have eight hours labour, eight hours recreation and eight hours rest.

19.01.2022 Is this not the best news ever? From Friday onwards you can earn more before your payment is affected. There are so many employers out there looking for great employees and are currently unable to fill these positions, to assist with this the Government has increased it's income threshold. With the Covid-19 supplement dropping to $250 instead of the $550 now is the best time to get back onto that job search! You could earn that extra $300 before your payment is impacted and not be out of pocket at all ;-)

Its truly amazing what a difference four paws, a wet nose and a wagging tail can make, but they couldnt do it without you.... Thank you again for helping our Guide Dogs to change lives. Life would be pretty ruff without paw-some people like you!

Just remember to read the job advertisement properly.
