23.01.2022 Super weather and a sneaky day off work when the fish are nibbling!

19.01.2022 Hi All just pitched camp on the Coen River, trip so far been awesome did the Bloomfield track , not a challenging 4wd track in the dry weather but a whole different kettle of fish in the rain. Hit 1 hill in low 4wd only to get halfway up and slide backwards all the way to the bottom (clean undies needed) , second attempt 3rd low fast and slide our way over the top. Hit Cooktown staying at Endevour River Escape huge sites. We are staying on the Coen River tonight then Wenlock tomorrow for 3 nights

19.01.2022 Dropped the barra board off today to the generous couple who bid $2000 for it. I couldn't thank them enough with every cent going to The Cure Starts Now. They live in Kelso and with the cheek I give Kelso residents on the show I had to sneak up there to avoid a stoning I did stop for a selfie sort of Thanks everyone who bid , I will do a presentation to Ren when we are back on the 16th

15.01.2022 Some days its a grind getting up to do the show but what happened today is why we drag ourselves out of bed every Saturday morning. We had Ren from The Cure Starts Now on for a chat about The Convoy For a Cure.We mentioned the Gala Ball coming up and we should give 2 of our Cure Lures that Dave & Judi from Old Dog Lures made for us to be auctioned on the night Great Idea we thought This is why I love every one of our Listeners ,within 10 mins of mentioning them I had a tex...t of $500 to start when they go to auction Then a text for $550 ,then to top it off the last bid was for $1000. It didnt stop there the first anonymous bidder has donated his $500.It is so humbling that you guys all jump on everything we do for The Cure Starts Now for that we are truly grateful.. It is a passion Marty ,myself and Chez even though she is not on the show anymore have to help Ren and his team beat this horrible disease. Thankyou everyone who supports everything we do I will eventually thankyou all personally one day even my friends in far away Kelso See more

Sounder seems to work , gps works but doesnt read card. This is for a kid doing up a boat so please no adults trying to get a free sounder for themselves. Its missing mount that all

05.01.2022 A huge thanks to the gang at Ingham Rod & Reel Club for another awesome catch & release comp the weather gods werent kind with 2 days of rain but the atmosphere amongst everyone was great. Didnt do to good on the barra front but did manage to walk away with the champion trevally angler so I suppose that was something for being soaked for 2 days . Well done everyone who won prizes you all earnt it in those conditions
