05.01.2022 Blue swimmer crabs have a minimum size limit of 11.5 cm across the carapace, which is measured notch to notch. The notch is considered to be the lowest point be...tween the first and second spines (forward of the widest spines of the crab), regardless of whether the spines are intact or not.
