24.01.2022 Great post by Australian Physiotherapy Association. Pain flare ups are common and can be caused by many things, often an activity you’re not used to. Remember to just keep moving. Exercise is medicine!

23.01.2022 I am so grateful that firstly my family and I are ok, and secondly that I work for myself and have been able to take the time this week to help my friends and family. From housing people, to washing & drying clothes, cooking, child minding, packing up belongings, cleaning river out of houses, dragging peoples prized possessions to the footpath for hard waste collection. My heart is heavy. What some people have been through this week I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. Thank goodness for sunshine. It lifted my spirits today. Classes resume Monday. Looking forward to sharing stories, giving hugs where needed and giving people the distraction they might need.

22.01.2022 The past two months have been a blur. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. It looks as though I will be included in Phase Two of easing restrictions (mid June), indoor gyms/fitness facilities/yoga studios. 11.01.2022 On Thursday one of my beautiful clients turned 80. Yes 80! She can do everything anyone else in the class does. She is such an inspiration. The fact that she chose to still come to Pilates on her birthday warms my heart. So we had a little party to celebrate. GF hazelnut & coffee cake. Couldn’t taste the coffee. Maybe I should make another one for next weeks class to try and perfect the recipe

10.01.2022 I am excited to offer a new class on my timetable. This is a chance for existing clients to do an extra session within the week, or to catch up if they can’t make their original session. It’s a chance for people who aren’t quite able to join a big group class due to their stage of rehabilitation, or for people who can’t afford a 1-1 but need closer attention and feedback.
