25.01.2022 We know there is some uncertainty out there at the moment and we understand the measures that the government have put in place in order to help protect Australians in these troubled and unknown times. At this stage we would like to make it known that Mackay Airport presents NQ's Rock'n Country is still planned to go ahead on the 28th and 29th August as there is no indication that the ban will still be in place. The industry and all the people involved need this ban to be lifted as soon as possible as their lively hoods depend on festivals to come. With that in mind, we will continue as planned to deliver to North Queensland, Australia's best country acts. We also send our thoughts to those who have been directly affected by this virus.

18.01.2022 We have had a lot of enquires regarding whether Mackay Airport presents NQ’s Rock’n Country will be proceeding. At this stage the event is planned to go ahead as scheduled in August 2020. We are monitoring the situation very closely and taking it day by day as like the rest of the country. Many industries are struggling through this hard time, and the entertainment industry is one of those. With still a few months until the festival we are hoping that the current COVID-19 s...ituation is under control and we are able to proceed as planned. Many peoples livelihood are relying on this event, including the artists, vendors and local businesses. We would love to come out on the other side this pandemic with this festival to look forward to. Of course the health and safety of our performers, attendees and everyone involved is most important to us. So the decision will not be made lightly. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience with this matter and we promise to keep everyone updated. As soon as something changes we will be informing the public. 16.01.2022 COVID-19 update As restrictions are starting to be lifted, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Currently NQ’s Rock’n Country is scheduled to continue as planned for August 2020. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during these unknown times as this is something we have never dealt with. We have held off postponing the event as the festival outcome will play a heavy part in the economic future for all parties involved including artists, vendors..., sponsors, the local community and all other stakeholders. A final decision will be made at the end of May in regards to whether the festival will continue in 2020, as much as we would love to plan to continue to go ahead we do understand the severity and the impact that the festival will have in terms of people’s health and safety, of which these are more of our concern. In the unfortunate circumstances that the festival is postponed, all tickets will be valid for the new proposed dates which will be confirmed at a later date. If ticket holders are unable to attend the new dates they will entitled to a whole refund. We will keep everyone updated as soon as we receive further information and we hope to see you all in August

07.01.2022 COVID 19 update Our plan to deliver NQ’s Rock’n Country Music Festival will sadly have to wait, our application submitted to the COVID-19 Taskforce, to host a safe event, will not be assessed in time. There are too many uncertainties at the moment and the Government is not willing to risk people’s health during winter. We are now focused on delivering a bigger and better festival to NQ next August. Next years dates will be announced later in the year along with the new l...ine-up. What can be said is that most artists have confirmed their availability. We truly have appreciated your support and trust you will be their to join us next year to celebrate something NQ has been waiting for many years. The good news is, if you hold tickets, its valid for the new event date, in 2021. No further action is required from you, simply retain your tickets until next year. If you can no longer attend the rescheduled event, please register for a refund of your ticket price at https://forms.oztix.com.au/refundrequest/ .
