Today our elected leaders in Canberra committed to rewarding fossil fuel companies & other greenhouse gas ...emitting entities with generation of their own carbon-lite carbon credits - using our money in the form of Consolidated Revenue & claiming it is not a tax. This is akin to rewarding the schoolyard bully who taunts all the other kids with a bag of lollies. It is WRONG ON EVERY LEVEL. Having spent the last 30 years committing myself to forests, trees, plantations, farm forestry, natural resource management & carbon farming, today I re-commit my purpose to creating a new funding mechanism for rewarding real climate action by real people using real projects.
