13.01.2022 **UPDATE** We have just been notified that this little guy is currently on a drip and receiving medication and care. The little fighter is making progress and has a good chance for a full recovery. ***** This very young koala joey was rescued by an NRG Team Member from a Central Qld highway this morning. His mother had been injured by a vehicle and this little fella was left on the road. We contacted a local Yeppoon Wildlife Carer and we are happy to report he is currently on his way to a team of wonderful Wildlife Carers that have the experience and knowledge to give this incredible animal a fighting chance.
