09.01.2022 The annual Colour of Change Luncheon at Fitzy's Toowoomba supporting the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation took place earlier this week. The event raised over $80,000 for BreastScreen QLD - over $30,000 more than the last event held in 2019! NRG Services' own Joe & Matt presented two ‘Tradie for a Day’ vouchers, raising almost $3,000 to add to the total figure awesome job guys. #NRGsupports

08.01.2022 We were thrilled to hear that the funds raised at the NRG Services Leon Treadwell Memorial Golf Day late last month has allowed the Toowoomba Hospital’s Oncology Unit to purchase 4x Niki T34 Syringe Pumps, Lock Boxes and Lock Box Carry Bags. 08.01.2022 We're taking a look back at some previous projects across the NRG Services team. Including our works with Wiley to carry out the supply, install and commission of the mechanical services at the new Agricultural Science and Environment Precinct at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Toowoomba Campus. This was a landmark project for USQ and allowed NRG Services to work closely with Wiley Constructions and their client to achieve an outcome that enabled USQ’s research... teams to have confidence in the mechanical system and precision controlled environments. During DLP and Post DLP, NRG Services have continued to work closely with USQ to further develop their systems and monitoring to enable climate conditions suitable for USQ’s highly sensitive research development, our HVAC-R Operations Manager Tim Burke added. 02.01.2022 Meet Tim #facesofnrg 1. What’s your role at NRG Services? I am the Operations Manager of our Building and Support Services departments.... 2. How long have you been in the industry & what’s your main experience? I have 28 years experience in the Electrical industry. Made up of 15 years experience in the Powerline Construction and Maintenance Field as a Electrical/Live Linesman. The remainder of my career has been in various management roles. 3. What would we find you doing on the weekends? Transporting my four high-energy children to their respective sporting and social activities And the occasional game of golf for me. 4. What did you want to be when you grew up? A Butcher 5. Favourite thing about your job? The challenges and opportunities it provides me every day! 6. What’s something interesting our followers may not know about you? During my time with Energex I was lucky enough to work in East Timor running a generator station for the United Nations!
