19.01.2022 Australia is the driest inhabited continent on Earth. We have the least amount of water in rivers, the lowest runoff and the smallest area of permanent wetlands of any country - protecting our natural resources has never been more important! NRM Knowledge Conferences play a pivotal role in bringing key industry thinkers and decision makers together to share knowledge and to discuss the future of agricultural development and #EnvironmentalSustainability.

18.01.2022 The North Coast of New South Wales is home to over 202 flora species, 157 fauna species and 8 significant wetlands. The #SavingOurSpecies' conservation program is in effect throughout NSW and aims at reducing the number of Australian animals and plants facing extinction.

18.01.2022 #Ozwater2016 is set to start tomorrow and will shine a spotlight on #Sustainability within the Australian Water Industry. Natural Resource Management, including on and off-farm water management practice, will be a hot topic at this years' 6th National NRM Knowledge Conference. There will be numerous Keynote presentations and field trips which will explore innovative and successful water programs throughout the North Coast and across Australia.

18.01.2022 Enlightening...

17.01.2022 Today, we have 3 keynote addresses focusing on People, Planet and Profits. We will be discussing the issues surrounding social, environmental and economic sustainability and we will explore their influence on one another. The Environmental Protection Agency suggests, Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends either directly or indirectly on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony that permit fulfilling the social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations. What is sustainability to you? How does environmental sustainability relate to social and economic outcomes?
