09.01.2022 As a responsible fellow Nepali community member, it is quite important that dissemination of information regarding COVID19 is taken directly from government health. 08.01.2022 Namaste ! A few words of Gratitude !! We all are aware about the current pandemic that the whole world is enduring right now. Millions of people around the world are afflicted by COVID- 19 financially, socially and even deceased. Among them, new students who have just arrived from Nepal have become the real victims. ... To support the newcomers, brother and sisters from our mother land who have recently arrived to this land of opportunity with high hopes and golden dreams, NRNA SCC QLD has started the fundraising Campaign to support in their daily livelihood by providing basic grocery package at this stage. We all know that giving few grocery items wouldn’t make a huge impact on most our lives but it would definitely create a difference in new comers who has just arrived in Australia and are forced in quarantine without having access to food or other basics needs. Thinking about helping hand, Team NRNA SCC QLD wouldn’t miss the opportunity to extend our heartily gratitude to Expert Education and Visa Services Brisbane for Funding AUD 7000 for NRNA QLD’s COVID -19 fundraising campaign. We all are aware about the fact that Mr Sagar Aryal, Director of EEVS has always been sincere to the community and has extended an ample support in times of need. Thank you once again for being there for community and we would like to wish you best wishes a head. The time has come up again to feel the pain of our own Nepalese soul and reminisce the first day we arrived here with few kg of luggage and some TC. Hence, we would like to request all the businesses and individuals to be the part of this humanitarian campaign, helping our own people in need. We would like to acknowledge all the volunteers who have been preparing and delivering the relief packages to the quarantined doors despite of Covid-19 ‘s fear and social distancing rules as formulated by the Australian Government. Regards! Sambhu Gaishe Treasurer NRNA SCC QLD With Team NRNA QLD.

03.01.2022 Dear All, Re: Australia Nepal Repatriation Flight. Since Australia Nepal Repatriation flight committee was formed earlier this week, it has been very busy week for most of us involved in this project. NRNA Australia, Embassy, ANMDA, ANJA and other involved stakeholders are working tirelessly to make this happen. As mentioned earlier the semi charter flight has passenger capacity of 153 but we have received more than 600 applications. Clearly it is a floodgate situation an...d there are lots of disappointment. Government of Nepal has allowed repatriation flight till 19th of this month, out team is working vigorously to see if we can accommodate at least couple of flight in next few days. We are aware of desperation and frustration out there but there are lots of things that is beyond our control. Authority from Government of Nepal and ad hoc effect of ongoing pandemic has created lots of uncertainties. Additionally there are lots of queries in our emails or messenger that we are not being able to answer. Please do consider the situation and wait for official communication from NRNA Australia representatives for more details. We have prepared some Frequently asked questions (FAQs) re: 14th Flight, please refer these information for now and we will share the information accordingly. Best Regards, Australia Nepal Repatriation Flight Management Committee.
