24.01.2022 Family Friendly Clean up Morning at the Zig Zag! Saturday 17th April 9:30-11am Meet at the main upper carpark, just past the end of Lascelles Parade. ... Bring enclosed footwear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water bottle (we will have refills available). We have some tongs and gloves available to borrow, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring them along. Prize on offer for the most random item found! 17.01.2022 What a rare sight! This brushtail possum and baby were spotted down south in Dunsborough over the weekend. But you can also expect to see these critters up in the Perth Hills thanks to the habitat provided from the trees. That’s why it’s so important to look after the vegetation up here, so that these little guys can have a place to call home Also hope to see some of you at 9:15 this Saturday at Wilkins Rd for some weeding (see previous post or message for more details)

Wilkins Reserve, on the corner of Lesmurdie Rd East and Wilkins Rd.... Sunday 16th 9:45am VOLUNTEER: Weed removal with Friends of Piesse Brook. Piesse Brook Reserve, meeting at the end of Schipp Rd. 07.01.2022 Spot the Gumleaf Grasshopper if you can! This big guy was hanging out in the reserve along Wilkins Rd last Saturday. They resemble a dead leaf which makes them tricky to spot when they’re not moving- although they’re hard to miss when they are jumping around with those huge hind legs.
