19.01.2022 Our first 6 weeks NetSetGO program was a great success with 16 young netball players aged 5 - 8. The NET skills program was held on Saturday mornings and for 6 weeks the girls learnt the basic rules of a netball through games and simple exercises. Guided by our young coaches, they learnt about shooting, defending, throwing and catching a ball, footwork and playing as a team. Thank you for ERNA for the support and NetSetGO HeadOffice for the NSW Swifts and Giants Netball merchandise. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021!

07.01.2022 Preparations are underway for the 2021 winter season. We have plans to run pre-grading skill workshop(s) and next year we will be introducing a coaching workshop and a coaching App to help those who volunteer their time with teams. These initiatives are dependent on player participation. For this reason we have put together an Expression of Interest (EOI) in playing next year so we have an idea of player numbers and on the expected number of teams per age group.... NRRSL netball is a community based club that relies on its members to keep going strong. We have included some questions in the EOI regarding your interest in coaching, umpiring and being part of the committee. Please take the time to complete the EOI (Link at the bottom of this message) as well as the questions we have asked and consider lending a hand to keep the club active by Saturday, 12 December. https://forms.gle/mzCXcgWuJtUjf79R7

04.01.2022 What an incredibly special day. We are so honoured to have worn @tarsha_june ‘s Indigenous dress and produce a win in it. A special shout-out also goes to Rhean...na Lotter who beautifully designed our Boomerang we gifted to @collingwoodsn; as well as Peta Strachan & the Jannawi dance Clan for their Smoking ceremony and dancing. Indigenous Round is so important to us at the Swifts, and we’re so thankful to have brought it to life with the help of these amazing people. See more
