06.01.2022 One for the tendies! Here we are working on agile movements from being sprawled on the ice to getting back into a butterfly position to be able to make a rebound or lateral save. There was going to be a diving poke check included but we started just with receiving the pass, then pass it back, and getting your body back into a position for subsequent save. From a player's POV: be willing to master the basics even if it means doing the things that you may find boring. Creat...e your own excitement about doing it because it will only lead to being able to do more. From a coach's POV: hold players accountable in a way that you're not just going through drills, but that there is a specific purpose to what is being done, and make sure that it's being executed. Assess, teach progress/regress, give feedback. As shown by Coach Sera, the difference is in the details. #NSAhockey #Skatersnetwork #icehockey
