23.01.2022 First up, we have a projector install which displays straight onto a white wall which has come up really well. The next two are of a main comms room for a warehouse and office block all neatly patched and run through a cable management system. 23.01.2022 7 cameras were required in this install, to ensure the perimeter of the house was covered from all angles. Due to the dark colouring of the house, black cameras were selected to blend in. While the client can access an overview of the property on their phone, a larger display is also available on the main TV. 16.01.2022 A job we completed for a good friend before lockdown. We moved his original CCTV installation into a lockable cabinet, now the renovation has been completed. This cabinet also houses the modem, Foxtel and PS4. A HDMI matrix was added which allows him to use multiple inputs on his TVs throughout the house without all the messy cabling. For example, he can play PS4 on any TV in the house without the need to move it from the cabinet. 15.01.2022 Today, we put the finishing touches on an installation we have been working on since the framing stage. It makes you appreciate the job more, when you can work with the client through each stage of the renovation to ensure we have all of their needs covered. Firstly, we installed a Bosch 3000 alarm with access via smart phone for easy accessibility. With the added extra of being able to arm and disarm via remotes, which can be attached to your keyring. A 4 channel Dahua camer...a kit was added to discourage unsavoury characters from snooping around. With HDMI run into the lounge and bedroom TV's, viewing the cameras is made easy with a click of the remote. The Dahua intercom provides the opportunity (especially in these Covid-19 times) to talk to door knockers without being face to face. It also has the ability to unlock the front gate remotely via your smart phone. We installed an external keypad to unlock the front door to save rummaging around in your bag for your keys. The alarm remotes were programmed to also open the front door, as well as arm and disarm the alarm. WiFi is everything, so we installed a Ubiquiti Wireless Access Point so the client has full WiFi throughout the property. 11.01.2022 Replacement intercom for this block of flats in Prahran. Now with clear audio from the main call panel and the ability to unlock the front door from the apartment, visitors can be let in easily. I personally like the brushed aluminium look of the intercom panel on the black backing plate. A nice touch to make it stand out. It is interesting working on these older buildings. It is cool to see what cabling and hardware has been installed from previous decades.
