19.01.2022 Sharing a post from The Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), NSW Police Force below, who are responsible for the administration and regulation of security licensing in NSW. If you are in NSW and getting a security screen door installed, compliant to the Australian Standard AS 5039, your installer must have a valid Class 2 Security Licence. Why? Because the person installing your security screen door has access to our your home, your locks and your keys. Wou...ld you trust your home security to someone who is not licenced? The National Security Screen Association (NSSA) advocates for state and territory licensing requirements and regulations that relate to our industry. Our Members are audited and licences verified. Looking for a security screen installer? Always look for a member of the NSSA. nssa.org.au NOTE: THE IMAGE BELOW DOES NOT DEPICT A SECURITY SCREEN, THIS IS A FLY SCREEN, NO LICENCE REQUIRED HERE! A FLYSCEEN (OR BARRIER SCREEN) WON'T KEEP YOUR FAMILY AND HOME SAFE FROM A HOME INVASION. #SLED #securitydoor #homesecurity #securitylicence #nssa #nssamember
