23.01.2022 Yesterday Bowning Brigade said goodbye to our faithful old Bowning 1 after we received a brand new Cat 1 Tanker. Equipped with all of the gear to help our brigade in protecting the community such as a water canon on the front which can be operated from inside the cab which will be an awesome feature for fighting running grass fires etc and automatic hose winding reels on the back which will come in handy for bush and grass fire fighting and those long days of mopping up. Our brigade has the potential to be called out 24hrs a day, 365.25 days of the year. The new truck is going to serve our area for a long time into the future. All of our awesome volunteer firefighters are grateful and over the moon with the new arrival. Cheers, from the Bowning RFS
