08.01.2022 What a fantastic day yesterday was. I was asked by the RSL at Huskisson if we had a Scottish flag, I asked John Dent, and yes he had one. So we all met down there and with all of us playingembers busy, we needed someone to lay the wreath on behalf of the NSW RFS Pipes and Drums, so I asked John and he said he would.

01.01.2022 Today We attended Volunteer Emergency Services Day at the Volunteer Emergency Services Memorial adjacent to Mrs Macquaries Chair. With a miserable start to the day, the day soon fined up as the Padres arrived! Thank God! Our numbers were swelled, a little, today with the addition of Debbie, Andrew & Glen from Blacktown Pipe Band. Thanks team for your assistence, camerarderie & excellent playing. Jax became Pipe Major for the Event & led The Emergency Services Minister , Troy Grant, & Commisioner Shane along with The SES Commisioner, VRA Commisioner & Volunteer Coastguard Commishioner. It would be remiss of me not to mention RFS Senior Chaplains Kerry & Ian Spall leading this flock(see the photos).

01.01.2022 The people you bump into. Great to catch up with some of our Pipes and Drums Brigade members at Goulburn this morning who are heading to Temora for our NSW Rural Fire Service State Championships this weekend. Thanks team
