22.01.2022 FLOODED FEBRUARY In early February flash flooding & riverine flooding caused from torrential rainfall sent the Blacktown Flood Rescue team into action with our teams responding to over 20 flood rescues across the Sydney metro area. Our Flood Rescue teams carried out a very successful rescue in Milperra along with many more including evacuations, retrieval from cars & animal rescues. ... 10.01.2022 EMU PLAINS FLOOD RESCUE UPDATE Our flood rescue teams worked amongst Penrith NSW State Emergency Service to successfully rescue 4 persons from the Nepean River where two vehicles attempted a 4WD river crossing however was unsuccessful. Initially 4 personnel were stuck on the roof of 2 vehicles, until both vehicles were submerged in fast flowing water. Two of our in-water operators liased with Penriths flood rescue team to complete an in water search and resc...ue and then a successful rescue via boat.
