21.01.2022 This is Leon, Ulmarra’s youngest spontaneous volunteer who handed his dad sandbags to be filled and called all of us Sandboys. Well done Leon, his last day of school today so he’s coming back to help tomorrow. Thank you for being such a great little trooper and making a dull rainy day so much brighter.

20.01.2022 SEVERE WEATHER WARNING CANCELLED The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled the Severe Weather Warning for people in Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast. A trough ...over the northern New South Wales coast brought heavy rain to the region during the past few days. Rainfall rates are expected to ease Wednesday morning as the trough weakens and extends south. Severe weather is no longer occurring in NSW and the ACT. The immediate threat of severe weather has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary. A number of flood warnings remain in place for the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast where further river rises are possible.
