14.01.2022 The NSW SES is monitoring the ever changing situation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our members, and the wider community is... our highest priority. The NSW SES is implementing a number of measures to ensure the continuity of our operations and support our volunteers. Following advice from NSW Health, participation in non-essential community events, large meetings and ceremonies will be suspended. Volunteer training will be scaled back, but essential training will continue to maintain operational readiness. The NSW SES will continue to support communities become better prepared for severe weather events, and respond to communities in need over the coming months. When calling for emergency help during floods and storms, the NSW SES may ask you for additional information, including whether you are currently in isolation or have cold / flu symptoms so our volunteers can take additional safety precautions. We appreciate your assistance during this time. #NSWSES #covid19



14.01.2022 Everything is ready to go here at Wauchope unit for our Information/Recruitment Night. Come down and say hello, grab some information about Floods and Storms or ask us about volunteering if your interested.

13.01.2022 Making the best of the current situation. While the response to COVID-19 has prevented us from meeting and training as usual, Wauchope Unit are continuing to train via alternative methods. Tonight members joined in online via a skype session to continue our training in Storm and Water Damage Operations. While we may not be able to meet face-to-face, we still intend to continue our training in order to help us help you when you need it the most.
