25.01.2022 3 days of NSWIS training with Craig Ferris. Also joined yesterday by Tommy Ashworth who sails with the Penninsula Youth Sailing Foundation in Redwood City, California. Tommy is here for a few weeks and sails the 420 in the USA. Welcome and thanks for joining the group on the water!

24.01.2022 Happy New Year! While our friends in Victoria and SA have managed to get some summer regatta action happening, our NSW sailors have unfortunately been kept within our state. Dan Smith at WSC has offered to let any 420's join the racing this coming weekend with the Finn fleet. If any sailors are keen to race, please message Dan at WSC for more details. Also as a date for the diary- Saturday 6th Feb- we will welcome any junior sailors who may be keen to try out the 420. ... We would love to see any current Optimist sailors join us at WSC for an afternoon of fun. 09.01.2022 Mastering the reach to finish takes time. It requires gymnastics and synchronised team work. Here is an excellent example of two top flight boats in high winds executing the transition from downwind to reach and a hotting up to full pace. Thanks to Ian and Graham for capturing.
