24.01.2022 THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS Across NSW, more than 350 people from 18 to 88 years of age volunteer their time and hard work to assist paramedics deliver the best clinical care across our vast state. As part of National Volunteer Week, we’d like to express our enormous gratitude to these unsung heroes who play such a vital role in helping NSW Ambulance care for some our most remote communities!... Take our Community First Responder (CRF) unit in Tocumwal, a small town in the southern Riverina region of NSW near the Victorian border, who were recently recognised by NSW Ambulance for their outstanding commitment and service to the community. Our Tocumwal CFRs were trained by NSW Ambulance to attend emergencies and have provided early clinical care to patients until paramedic resources arrive for over 10 years. #NationalVolunteerWeek2021 #THANKYOU
