06.01.2022 Following new restrictions on gatherings put in place by the Australian government, which restricts non-essential services including places of worship and religious gatherings, churches will not be able to hold physical gatherings. ' ( ) - , . .... These restrictions are expected to be in place for several months. This will impact the upcoming LDC 2020 and Awards Presentation Ceremonies (as well as other activities). BBNSW will be reviewing these activities and, in line with further developments and subsequent advice from authorities in the coming months, will explore options for these activities. In the Meantime? During this period when we are not able to meet with our members physically, we encourage Companies do implement strategies to maintain communications with members and their families. This could include: Video conferencing (e.g. Skype, Zoom) Group messages (Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram) Regular social media posts and updates (Facebook, Instagram) Emailing or posting activity packs Recordings of short talks Leaders are encouraged to keep parents and members up to date
