07.01.2022 If the Premier and Attorney General do not commit to ongoing funding for JAS, then the next 12 months will be very grim for people with cognitive disability caught up in the justice system. It will mean 1,200 police interviews and 6,900 court appearances in the coming year without a trained support person to assist the person with cognitive disability.
