07.01.2022 Public meeting at Nimmitabel next Wednesday, 18th November 9am. Please come along, let’s get this mess sorted out. The idea is to get an update from council ove...r the Asbestos contamination of the site, what they plan to do to remediate, and when we can get full operation back. Further, there needs to be a plan of management for the tip, and this needs input with respect to historical uses of the tip areas, so long term residents are urged to come along and share their memories. This is a no-blame, no-fault opportunity for the current council to get an understanding of what went on at this tip in the past, so they can manage it appropriately in to the future and prevent further asbestos and site-hazard exposures. Please share this around.
