23.01.2022 1/2/3 using a 'handfuls' activity to explore Multiplicative thinking.

23.01.2022 STEM have been working on a game design to demonstrate the skills they have developed in 2020. They have 3D printed pucks, printed a sticker on the BN-20 and milled a word or image onto timber.

22.01.2022 Today we hosted our first League Tag game against Ariah Park CS and we are proud to report the following results: Men's game: 17 to 12 - BCS winner Women's game: 12 to 1 - BCS winner Mixed game: 21 to 11 - BCS winner... Special thanks to Ryan Smith for playing for the Ariah Park side when they were down a player, and special congratulations to Kokulan Kandeepan and Paige Kenny for being the highest scoring BCS players of the day, scoring 10 and 8 tries respectively. Excellent sportsmanship was shown on both sides of the field. Thank you finally to Ariah Park for the lovely games!

20.01.2022 We’re happy to share with you that Teagan McKinlay will be joining us in 2021. Teagan comes to us from Sydney and is an early career teacher who has pre-service experience in Sydney and a couple of schools around Orange. She has also worked across a range of schools in Sydney this year. She has previous experience before teaching as a school learning support officer (SLSO). We extend a warm welcome to Teagan (Miss McKinlay) who will visit us in the last week of term, and formally start at the beginning of next year.

18.01.2022 A busy morning in 1/2/3! Students were working on 'Fractured Fairy tales', traditional fairy tales with a twist. Some of their new titles include: Little Red Riding Hood and the Crazy Forest, Cinderella and the Big Bad Roadworks, Jack and the Giant Farmer and Goldilocks and the 600 bears.

10.01.2022 K/1 have been reading wombat stew for their focus read to text this fortnight. They have read the story multiple times, focusing on some of the vocabulary in the text, and on answering some literal and inferential questions. Today they made their own wombat stew, using slightly tastier ingredients, then wrote their very own wombat stew recipes to share with their families.

09.01.2022 HoL students have been busy at work on a variety of projects, one that their focusing on right now is the creating roosts for the chickens in our poultry shed.
