22.01.2022 Over the course of Anzac Day 2020, our musicians have been out in their local communities across Sydney and outer suburbs, the Illawarra and the Central West as they performed The Last Post for their neighbours and community. #FRNSW #anzacday #anzac #drivewaysatdawn #standatdawn
21.01.2022 Whilst we all prepare for a very different Anzac Day to be commemorated in 2020, we revisit this video from 2013 with Vince Sedgewick as he told his story on what Anzac Day means to him. Whilst the band will not be attending any official services, we have one of our buglers in attendance to mark the occasion at Fire and Rescue NSW Station 001 City of Sydney and Fire and Rescue NSW (which will be an online event), and our extended band family will be out in their own communities, in their driveways and balconies and online, to sound the Last Post and Reveille on not just bugles, but on horns, trombones and tubas.
